I wanted to transfer my car from other state to Maharashtra and deposited my papers in Feb'13. Over a period of time I have deposited Octroi and Road Tax also. But unfortunately the process of Registration is not yet over eventhough 9 1/2 months are over.
The process of Re registration is an exceedingly long and needs to be looked by the authorities. Also, once the state of a vehicle changes, the person should be able to get back the road tax from previous state.
Kindly advise on expediting both cases.
