This is an excellent idea, Dayanand! Actually we have received a lot of feedback on similar lines from others also. One of the suggestions has been for ipaidabribe.com itself to establish a helpdesk where such issues can be handled. We are working on this approach. In the meantime, the KPTCL Accounts Officers Association has come to us with an offer which is exactly on the same lines as you say. The association will nominate officials who will help those who deal with these departments to get their work done without paying bribes. We have formally written to the Association and are awaiting their replies. Hopefully, once we establish a good rapport and work together, we can then go to other departments also with the same idea.</p>

Raghu, I have one question/suggstion. Majority of people bribe at registration, khata transfer at BDA and BBMP. Hoe about appointing service minded people at all the above mentioned departments. Of course these persons has be trained and equipped to deal with those works at that office. Any boby can approach these guys and can get the work done by paying some prescribed servcie charges. The charges are only to maintain the NGO who does this work.But we need to see that this system is non corrupt.- Dayanand
