SDM asking bribe to sign loan agreement form given by BANK

Sir
I have applied for home loan recently.My loan got cleared by bank and now house is under construction now.Bank manager called us today and asked to get a stamp paper signed by SDM-DERABASSI(PUNJAB) stating that our property is under bank till we repay our loan,It is a very standard document and has to be submitted in every loan case.Now problem is this I heard is very corrupt and asks for money directly to sign this form.This amount he asks depend on our net loan amount sanctioned.Our bank manager is a very helpful guy and intelligent also.But here he showed his helplessness . He said that this SDM is very smart and no one has account of the money taken by him as bribe.Please suggest something on urgent basis,as we need to get this form signed by SDM to continue getting out due loan amount.This SDM belong to DERABASSI TEHSIL,DISTT MOHALI,PUN JAB.

It appears that you have not approached the SDM even once for this purpose. Don't go by hear-say. You should directly meet the SDM and request him to sign the requisite document for submission to the document. If the SDM will not oblige or cause undue delay in signing the documents, you can approach the District Magistrate on a public grievance day for redressal of your grievance.
