In the state of Karnataka for engaging women employees in the night shift the application in Form R is required to be filed and the registration in Form S is granted by the Deputy Labour Commissioner. Till 2010 the Form S exemption orders were granted for life time, from 2010 onwards the Form S exemption orders were given with 1 year validity which is not specified in the act. Need to know on what basis the DLC office has introduce the validity of 1 year in the Form S exemption order and how to over come the situation.
