Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Kindly update us the reason of delay in Minors Passport (Heet Sagar). Generally it is intended to take not more then a week.
Application was Submitted to Passport office on 2nd August, 2017, Police verification was done in the second week where according to them everything was fine and documents were processed to CID (SP's Office) immediately on 10th August, 2017.
Till yesterday 20th August, 2017 online status was visible as (Still under police verification), today its got changed to CID Office verification after 10 days on Police verification.
We aren't able to track the reason of delay. Tried specking to Police representative then spoke to Passport Customer Carer who now advised to take contact details of CID office and check the status. As a respectable citizen of India, what do we do more ?
