M/s Rajesh Soni, Rakesh Kumar, Raman Kumar and Ravi Kumar, Officers in the office of ITO (International Taxation) (1) (1) at Scindia House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai, 400001 helped me getting refund of excess deposited in my daughter-in-law's account by mistake in July, 2011. I did not visit their office but simply kept on following on phone. Since it was a complicated matter involved several offices, it took about 6 months. But to my pleasure and surprise, I found that the amount was directly transferred to my daughter's account with the bank. I got phone calls from them from time to time, updating me about the initiatives/steps taken by them. I am highly impressed with their performance and wish that this matter be reported to PMO so that they can highlight through mass media that there are still many honest and dedicated officers in a grossly corrupt environment.
