Birth certificate issued prompty without any hassle
The Lady at the Birth/Death certificate counter in Udupi was ver helpful with issuing the birth certificate. Initially she said, it would take one week, but when I said that I need to travel and if she could give me the certificates earlier, she agreed and asked me to come the next evening. I thought that she might charge me for the favour, but it was a pleasant surprise when she issued the birth certificate immediately.
Gives me assurance that not all is bad with our system.
