Did not pay any bribe for new passport issue!
I am amazed at how so many people have to pay bribes for passport etc. My experience was totally different and very pleasing.. i went to HSR Layout PS when documents came for verification. There was some issue regarding address which the constable asked me to get rectified. i went with an address proof attested by a gazzetted officer the next day and submitted. No one asked for any bribe. I received my passport within stipulated time.
