I'm a senior citizen,bedridden , residing in East Fort, Thrissur, Kerala and wish to narrate my woes and frustration in my recent quest in getting an Aadhaar card during the past few days:
On the telephonic information from one of the Akshaya office in the vicinity I contacted Keltron office in Kochi when I was told they are involved only in thetechnical aspects of the Aadhaar scheme and were not concerned with execution of the same. Thereafter I contacted many Akshaya centers in and near Thrissur and was told that Akshaya Centerin Paravattani (nearest one to my place of residence) would only be in a position to help me in getting the card processed. Ironically the Paravattani center repeated the story that only Keltron is authorised to
entertain new applicants and if Keltron say they are not authorised to do the same the Paravattani center also are equally helpless in the matter and even asked me to communicate
the same to Keltron.
I'm told that Aadhaar registration period has been extended for a further period of three months.
But at this rate I'm afraid this period also will elapse without accomplishing my desire to get the card. My humble submission to you is to go deep in the matter and help people like me who are immobile in getting the card within the stipulated extended time limit. Thanks
