Got IDP twice, no bribe asked for or paid!
I applied and got an IDP twice (first time in 2001 and second time in 2003) through Nagpur Motor vehicles dept. Both times, I was harassed by "agents" standing outside, but I did not listen to them. I was given the IDP both times, without any hassle, and without any mention of a bribe. The second time, I needed it very urgently, and the peon was extremely helpful in trying to find the first application file, and got it done within one day!
