I went to the RTO to get my driver's license renewed - it was a little complicated as I was changing states from Maharashtra to Karnataka. They sent me to get a medical cert - which I did from KC General without paying anything. The next day I went armed with the cert - filled out all the papers etc. but they still needed to get one signature from the senior officer for submission.
