Health services in manipur
Hi,
Iam a Doctor from Manipur, I joined state health services in 2006. we were young just after finishing residency for 6 months ,i applied for the post of medical officer. Out of almost 1000 applicants about 60 medical officers were selected. We were so grateful to Prof Amarjit who was responsible for conducting the entrance exam ()MPSC).It was atime when everyone even some of the deputy directors asked money ,even 5 lakhs , to one of my uncle.I was morally down at working system of Manipur and was not thinking of joining it but then I was surprised because I was selected without paying, not only me my wife also got selected. That MPSC exam was one of the finest and everyone should learn to do justice to the hard work and labourthat we put. SIR AMARJIT was prof and head of surgery department at RIMS. After retirement He was given the responsibility to conduct MPSc exam. The best part the result was out on the same day we had Viva. He didnot give anytime for manipulation by politicians. We all know its always the politicians and those who close to it, that do the curruption. We dont blame them we encouraged them because now the trend is that its a neccessary evil
