I had to visit Muncipal office 10 times to get approval
I am NRI from **********. There is a huge bribe going on in this small town. I strongly oppose bribe because we dont pay bribe in London to get our job done. So i think its the same apply in India as long as we are doing thing legally. We have prepared our property planning as per the regulation of govt. There has been approval from Coast Gaurd, survey, even visit from Municipal office but the Main Person who sign off the plan called Nayar he hold our file and make me visit every single day just to get some Chai Pani. At the certain point i have lost my patients and threatens him of taking a legal action against him for delaying in this matter without any reason. Before threatening i had done some basic research on legality issue an typed an letter of complaint as well against him. I clearly told him that i am capable of paying the bribe but it would be unfair on the common people of india and ethically its wrong. I believe i only succeed in this because of my some basic research in property law and there was nothing illegal in paperwork.
