Issuance of Passport In Himachal Pradesh
I have had heard of the story related to agents, which involved some extra money than the actual fees to the passport officer, but I decided to go myself as the office was close to my home itself.
I agree that I was made to stand for long hours in queue, have to come to passport office two times, but the work there is straight forward and the police man also came after around 15 days of my submission to my home two times, without asking any amount of money.
I was thinking of extra expenses in police station and passport office itself, but was really happy when I had paid only Rs. 2500 in the year 2008 for tatkal passport.
