I wanted a driver's licence for my two wheeler. Everyone around me told that one has to pay atleast Rs500 to get it done, or else the officials will fail you in the test and it will go on. However my manager asked me to try it once without paying any bribe or approaching any agent. I did the same and first went for the learner's licence. Since I was applying directly I had to wait for 3 hours even after taking an appointement whereas the agents were getting their candidates appear for test at frequent intervals. I cleared the test and got the learners' licence. Now is the big one. I again took an appointment and went for the practical test. The inspector behaved very politely and explained me. He did clear me without asking for a single penny. I was amazed and thanked him for being honest.
