Passport renewal - delayed but no bride asked for
Submitted my passport renewal form with all valid and correct papers. it kept on dragging, and no police came home for verification. i visited the passport office and the local police station for enquiry twice and was given some lame reasons. finally after 8 months, police knocked and filled up detail on his form. he also asked me to take signature from my neighbours and to bring the papers to the police station in the evening. i expected that he is calling me to the station to get his bribe. i even took 2 X 100 rupees note with me. good guy said, sir all fine you can go now.
Surprising, i was not asked for a bribe at the passport office and at the police station. but 8 month wait was really horrible :(
