I have my licence applied for renewal and I have not yet received the license . On a receipt of WIAA for licence renewal i was driving . I crossed the orange signal to avoid a potential accident hit from behind . The cop caught me and asked for license . I legitimately told him that my license is under renewal and I crossed orange to avoid potential accident . And I also told him to exonerate this issue . There were 2 officers . One officer appeared to settle for 'chai-pani' which i was willing to .
But the other officer who appeared to be senior and having clear authority left me with clear warning to be vigilant and get license fast and without a single penny of bribe . This was something i could never imagine. I can do nothing but salute him .
This was on jogeshwari-vikroli link road near datt pada signal in mumbai.
