I a always too lazy to put the seat belt on .. other than that i always follow all the traffic rules.. the way i take from my office to home.. generally traffic cops recognize me and even smile at me.. most of them dont even stop me for the seat belt.. but this was a new one.. and asked me to stop the car.. when i did.. he asked me that why am i not wearing the seat belt.. i said becz i dont do.. and i dont like it..
I was getting late so i immediately took our a 100 Rupee note and asked him to let me go..
then he very politely told me that.. if i get hurt.. there will be many people who'll be sad.. like my parents or may be my kids.. so i must take care of myself..
he told me that govt wont get rich even if he puts a challan over it.. but ur family will definitely suffer the loss.. so please take care of urslef.. that day.. i realized that not wearing the seat belt is nothing but my stubbornness..
that day onwards.. i make sure that i wear a seat belt the moment i get into the car.
