Very good to see such bribe related grievance cell that can help in reporting this kind of things.
My mother is a central govt. family pensioner and she is regularly paying income tax which is under the ITDS (Incometax deducted at source) system. Recently when she had accumulated some arrears of 6PC, she had to pay some amount of tax on the deposited money. Later she was asked to show savings to avail the tax benefit. We did the same and filed the incometax returns in the subsequent year for the claim. Now it has been 2 years since we are waiting for the disbursement of the cheque, till now there is no response on it. We got to know from unknown source that they are disbursing quickly to the people who are paying 10% on the claim amount as bribe to the assesing officers.
