I was once stopped for jumping a traffic light though I had not done so. The traffic policeman stopped me because he realised that i was driving a vehicle which was surely not on my learning license. I had a honda dio. When he asked me for my papers i showed him everything and then told him that i had not jumped the red light. He agreed and then said that now that i had been stopped i will have to take care of what was necessary. I immediately realised he wanted a bribe and said it pretty openly that i wont do so. I of course looked stupid because everyone around me was handing over notes to these corrupt officials. Point to note here no one got a challan. Finally i realised that this guy will not let me leave and being only a student then i offered him the 10 rs of my daily allowance and thats how it happened. Well that shows you they will let you go for any amount you offer. The date is not an exact date but is within a week of the actual date.
