I did all the tax calculations my self, filled the form and attached a cheque to the form at the Pantur BBMP counter. The clerk accepted the same and asked me to come in the evening to collect receipt. I don't stay in that area, so I said I'll wait. He said if I don't pay 100Rs, he will not issue the receipt. Many folks in the office paid and were getting the receipts. Without any option I had to pay and get the receipt. From next year onwards I paid only via online.
