Due to irregular water supply we thought of putting bore- well in our house in Bhubaneswar. My father inquired about the 3 -Phase electric supply from state Electricity board office, the concerned officer provided us the forms and accoridng to the rules my father paid the required fees through a demand draft and we waited for 15 days but nothing happened…. we spoke to Junior electrical engineer and waited for another 15 days it went on for 2 months ….

One fine day when father was in state electricity board office , a peon came and took my father out side he just felt pity on my father …. he suggested sir you will be coming to office for next 6 months nothing is going to happen !!! please pay the Junior electrical engineer Rs 25,000 as bribe and you will get you work done in one week .

My father thought this peon is trying to cheat him and he kept following the issue with Junior engineer and as summer was approaching he did not had any other choice except to pay the bribe directly to the junior engineer and when he asked the JEE why we have to pay the bribe , the JEE explained very politely that he paid 3 lacks as bribe to the minister to get a posting to this particular post , if he does not take the bribe how will he manage and according to him post like his are auctioned to highest bidder *******
