I have got a flat in MHADA Lottery System in Year 2009 and for this I have taken a loan from LIC Housing Finance. In that Lottery MHADA has got some dispute in High Court and because of that LIC Housing Finance has asked me to deposit my Father's FD (amounting Rs 8 Lacs) and I have done that. Now as the Dispute has finished and LIC Housing has agreed to release my Father's FD only on the condition that MHADA Authority should give them the letter stating that Registration of MHADA Flat is not compulsory.
For this I went to Mhada Mumbai and asked the Estate Manager III's assistant that they should give me the letter regarding the same. But he has asked me to go to the marketing department and they are pointing me towards the Estate Manager III department but finally Estate Manager III has agreed to give me the letter on the second day. She has asked me to come on the next day. I went there on the next day again she asked me to come on the next day as she was busy with other day. Now onwards she ask me to call before coming to MHADA. after a week I have called up asking about the letter and she said that it is ready. I went to the office and she said that the letter content is ready but its not printed. She ask me to come later.
Now my patience is over and I directly told to the madam that let me draft the letter and you have to only sign the letter. she said its Ok with her. Then next day I again went to th same authority and ask for the signature. she has read the letter and directly asked me to give Rs. 1000/-. I am shocked that how that lady can ask me for this... but what I can't do any thing .. I am scared about everyday going to the mhada bunking my office. ... and finally I have taken the letter by giving the bribe of Rs 500/-.
