I went to police station for my passport verification. Police constable start checking my documents and then start asking regarding my address details I told him that I am staying here from past more than a year and for my marriage I just went to my hometown for 1 month leave and came back and he took that point and questioned me that you were not there for 1 month you should have give details of all the addresses from past 1yr. It is totally ridiculous, am I not go for my own marriage to my hometown. He keep asking me the questions I told him after my marriage me and my husband came back and staying in the same flat. I also had a letter from Chairman of society, my husband was not there as he is in US that time by hearing this he asked me a bribe of Rs. 10,000. I told him that I don't want my passport then he start giving me warnings like he scold Chairman of the society how can he give me the letter. He threatened me a lot, its really a mental torcher he doesn't know how to talk with a lady. Finally after so much tough negotiations he agreed on Rs. 5000. I hope some positive action will be taken against him also, so that he can't demand such a bribe ever again.
