I applied for Passport in TATAKAL and got the passport .After 15 days I got the verification call from Police Department.
My Village is coming under ADDANKI region for Passport verification; it is in Andhra Pradesh state.
Initially he spoke with me very obediently regarding document which I have submitted for Passport.
After that he started to demand the RS1500/- for verification purpose, I was shocking at that time and I questioned him why I have to give to you.
He said “ it is known factor to take the amount from everybody and I will distribute this amount to my superiors as per their designations” and I f you are given the complaint to my superiors it won’t happen anything to me but your police verification will get failed and your passport will cancelled as per my feedback.
The government should impose strict laws to stop this kind of bribe which is very uncomfortable for the citizens
