Bribe collected for not boarding at the departure station
Sir, This is to inform you that i was travelling in 3A/C of 7210 Sheshadri express on 04/09/2010 boarding at kaikaloru (A.P.). In emergency case, i had boarded the Train at Bhimavaram town with general ticket from Bhimavaram to kaikOlur since reservation is from Kaikolur.I approached the TTE and showed him the journey ticket and the difference general ticket. The TTE by name S (boarding from Kakinada upto vijayawada) told me that i need to pay a penalty of Rs.200/- per person as difference amount. I was forced to pay Rs.400/- as penalty and when demanded for receipt he never gave me a receipt and ignored. He never explained me the details of difference money which was paid. I was forced to pay Rs.400/- as bribe to the concerned TTE.The details fo the travelled tickets are given below, PNR No: **************boarding from Kaikolur to Bangalore, berth No.25 & 26 of B1 Coach. Passenger details:*******& Bhanu. Journey Ticket No:*********************of Rs.38/- for 2 persons from Bhimavaram Town to Kaikolur. Kindly let me know if this activity of taking bribe is allowed If so, how much is it fixed. If the activity is not allowed, what action can be taken against him. Kindly please elaborate the details and help Railways to serve better. *******
