Bribe demanded to Register a BHK property

Sub Registrar at Neelangarai office demanded a bribe of Rs.10000 to register a 3BHK property . He added this amount is to do inspection of the building and ensure smoother registration. Property is a new apartment in a big gated community close to OMR Jain college, Thoraipakkam, Chennai.

If you are not willing to Sub Registrar demand, he makes you wait all day and after the wait, he adds " do not waste my time. it is a very small amount ( bribe) that everybody pays and gets their work done".
