Bribe on electronic city elevated road

The speed limit in the elevated road is 80 kmph. I was going on little higher than that in my 4 wheeler. cop stopped me standing middle of the road and pulled aside. some other cars were there too. I was told the overspeeding charge is 300. Was ready to pay that and i requested for that too. But the glances and vibes I got from the cops were ominous. So just paid the bribe of 200 rs, and got away.
