Due to the demise of my father on 28th June at manipal hospital and them not having proper information they had sent the online report with deceased father name blank.On coming back I provided documents to manipal hospital and was asked to go to BBMP office at Ulsoor lake with a person from Manipal.

The officer in question Muniyappa started shouting that there is a long delay and started asking for a cremation report.I informed him that the kerala panchayat did not have any certificate like that,he showed me some affidavits from Tamil Nadu.I told him it is Kerala and to show me the performa for such that he has from Kerala for me to get the report.He kept shouting on the delay etc , the person from Manipal took him aside and got the work done without the cremation certificate on handing over the death certificates he asked me for money, on giving him Rs.500 he asked for more and then made me sign the feedback register before handing over the printouts .All I could see in the register was excellent since they make sure you sign the feedback before they give you the certificates .

It is sickening that for death certificates you have to pay money in this country.Not only do you have to deal with the pain of the loss but have to deal with such senseless human beings
