Bribe heaven every Monday Morning on Pune-Bengalore highway

Time - Every monday morning 6:30 AM onwards
From last few months I am noticing that cops are stopping personal vehicals in the name of checking. They ask for all kind of document and if anything is missing, you are looted. Since its monday morning, no one is willing to argue with them and just pay bribe and continue travel to work.
I was stopped twice this month and asked for PUC certificate for my 8 months old car. I told them its new car and PUC is not required for first year of new car. But cops didn't agree and asked for 1500 penalty. Again I told them panelty for PUC is 1000 but he said fine is increased recently.
Now its highway, no village nearby(no ATM either) so I had to settle with rs 500 bribe.
This happen twice in this month. So i finally took PUC certificate for my eight months old car.
