We had to get KHATA to be transferred to our name. When we approached the concerned office in Vijaynagar(Bangalore) the guy asked us for 4000 bribe to get this done.

Again the same instance happened when we wanted to get a KHATA of our site to transferred to our name. He was a young officer in his mid 30's. I was shocked how can young guys be corrupt. Buy at the end we had to pay 2000INR to get the khata transfer.
