I went for a medical test for so called PSU. Even if I had done all the tests from a renowned missionary hospital through proper doctors the PSU didn't agree to accept that. They asked me to get it done from a govt hospital and it should be authorized by someone at surgeon (asst) or above designation. I went to bowring lady curzon hospital (bangalore) with all my test reports from previous hospital which was taken just a day before. The asst surgeon refused to accept the reports. When I agreed to go through the tests again, his response was, I should be coming after 3-5 days. I had only one day left to submit the report, hence was helpless. After few minutes the guy shamelessly asked me Rs 1000 to get the work done. I had no choice but to pay the money and he put the seal within 5 minutes without actually checking any fitness measures!! and that was successfully accepted by the employer as well.
