Bribe for new govt approved Kaveru water connection

Govt, a few months back dug the road and installed Kaveri water pipes. We citizens applied for the connection and 6000/- was demanded by the BWSSB to grant us the water meter and to get the contractors signature on the application form. My neighbor was made to bribe too and we believe this has happened to every one in this area (Yelahanka Newtown).
