Near the Spencer plaza, there are lanes in the main road. The biggest flaw in this system is, if we need to enter some building on the left side of the road, we need to use the side service road, which was blocked on this day, thanks to road side vendors/hawkers. So, I had to come to the left lane to drop a friend off and at this time, a traffic police caught me for lane violation. However, the rule of lane violation seemed negotiable, once I had to take my wallet to show my drivers licence and the cop saw a Rs.100 in my wallet. And when I gave him this, the rule was completely legal. So much so that the very next day, the same cop saw me and I was able to get away as he recognized me. However, he did add that the next time, I had to pay Rs.50 and that could save me for a couple of more times.
