My income tax file came for scrutiny. The assessing officer disallowed Rs. 2 lacs which I had paid to a couple in my office (employees- husband and wife). If he disallows I have to pay 60000 in tax. If I appeal I have to pay 60000 in protests and another 15000 to senior councel of CA. And that result will come after one year and again at the mercy of another corrupt income tax officer. So I chose to pay 25000 to remove the headache.
