We and around 20 houses on the road weren't receiving water supply for over a month . After regular follow ups , we were informed that this was because of a technical issue as a valve had jammed and we were assured that this would be rectified at the earliest . After 3 weeks, when nothing was done, we were asked to pay 1000 each ( Thats more than 15 homes accounting to an easy 15k ) for charges towards the repair ! When in actuality this had to be taken care by the department . Since we had no other option as we had exhausted all means of call centers and senior officers, we were finally forced to pay this amount to receive water again
