Bribe to police officer of passport

I have applied for the passport 06/05/2010 and after a lot of struggle the police verification done last month, i have to pay 1000 and 500 rs in two installment to two police men. one is from LIU and another from local thana. but till now no passport received by me and there is no proper response in passport office. I am very fed up all this activity.
