I am a student of MBA from IGNOU through regional centre as well as Study centre Dehradun.
For completion of MBA we need to submit a project report and it can be completed by choosing a supervisor / guide of project which can be a professional having 5 years of experience in relevant field.
But Dehradun study centre is not allowing the students to choose supervisor on their choice, which can be a local OR nearest person to the student. For e.g. any student from Haridwar can chose a supervisor from Haridwar. But IGNOU officials at Dehradun are not allowing students to do so by saying that we could not allow you to go elsewhere.
And then student is compelled to choose a supervisor from study centre only
The main point is that when student went to the supervisor, designated by the Centre Co-ordinator, he always asks a bribe of Rs. 2000 to 3000 only for supervising.
Also if anyone submits the Project Report on time then IGNOU coordinator and Head Office (Delhi) will not approve the project report on time and always delay. I found the reason by visiting at Delhi office that they also ask Rs. 5000 to 6000 for approval of Project synopsis only (not the project report, it's only a prior approval of project)
By this post I want to ask the IGNOU authorities that why this system adopted *******
