My license was seized by a Policeman serving his duty near the IOCL Square in Noida for entering into a no entry. I was on a motorcycle.
I was anxious that I’ll need to pay bribe along with fines to recover it. The Policeman assured me that I need to take the Chalan and pay only the fine ( Rs 200 )that is required. Nothing over and above it. When I reached the Police station along with my family friends to recover my license the next morning, I was harassed for 3 long hours. I was advised by other Hawaldars to seek forgiveness and plead for my license and I was also giving the impression that if I do that I might be spared to go. Otherwise they’ll book me on further more traffic violations. It was all a clout ..a mafia is working. I had to pay AED 1000 over above the fine as bribe to end my ordeal and go home *******
