Bribe sought by local patwari

To get the inherited land registered in my name after the death of my father, I approached the patwari (Dalbir Singh) of village Kalali, district Charkhi dadri, Bhiwani. He asked for Rs.1000, for this small work, which i had to pay because I knew that I would not be able to visit him again and again.
