Dear All,
It is a bitter experience to share that once I submitted application for passport and after 10 days of submission I got a call from my Police station's police regarding verification of passport and unfortunately I was then in Delhi, whereat I had my own business and that was peak time for my job, he asked me to come to Police station for verification, I told him that I am in Delhi and I can,t come now, u just go to my village and get confirmation from my villagers or the basic purpose of verification is to know whether any crime report against the concerned person is there in police station or not, so u can check your register and give your report, then he said to me to send my any guardian to police station, and i did the same, when my father went to there he asked either the applicant come here or you have to pay 3000, then my father called me and told the matter, then I told him to give as less as possible, because I thought that If I come there then I have to spend 1000 for round tkt etc. and 3 days, thus I decided to pay, and my father paid 1500.
later I realized that I did wrong and that is a source to promote corruption and so on.
