After gruelled argument and verbal fight, I paid a bribe of ₹10,000 in Banaswadi subregistrar office in Bangalore. Initially I agreed to pay ₹5000 but the officer was reluctant to proceed with registration and demanded minimum of ₹10000. When I denied to pay in excess he returned my DD and Sale Deed and asked me to leave without getting my flat registered. I requested, argued and verbally fought with him but in vain. I then offered him ₹8000 and he agreed at that moment, so I withdrew another ₹3000 from ATM and handed over the money to him. After getting signature, photograph and thumb print he asked me to wait outside while they scan the document and furnish the details. While we were waiting, he demanded another ₹2000 otherwise he won't proceed with the final stage of furnishing and scanning the documents in the database. Another round of heated argument and I had to go back to ATM and get the money to fill up his pocket. Name of the : Mr.
