Today, I had to get a medical certificate attested for obtaining LL. The person who stood like the PA in white said that we required form 1A as the medicl certificate. Out of nowhere a man jumped up and welcomed us in who had a polite accent. We told that we didn't have the form and immediately he got it out along with the seal, pen and glue. My dad who accompanied told out rupees 100 from his pocket and rolled it in his hand (who has already faced such instances with government officers) and while leaving the room ensured that the money reached the hands of the person. There were no tests conducted and only with the words I spoke the certificate was issued clean and attested. There might be negligence on my part as I didn't know what to do but such officers in such high positions, what makes them greesdy for more even after concessions and facilities they get from the government. Why are they treated differently from the common man? What should I do if I face such instances?
