Bribed officer to register property

I am a NRI and have been to Pune to buy property, it took me longer to find a property and when I finally found one to register it I had to give bribe to officer so I could get it registered within 2 days. Transaction was done using an agent who was builders own person. I would have happily done it by post or online but there is no provision for that. And as I am NRI I had no time to follow proper numbered registration system which takes ages. And frankly most them out there were not following it. Irony was there was big board on wall saying if you find any bribery happening call on some number. But officer there was taking bribe no under table but over it in open.
