Bribed to police On Chennai -East Coast Road

On the way back to chennai from pondicherry, 2-3 police came and stopped our car. Suddenly they told your driver is drunk and drive. Also,they blackmailed as saying "if we go as per law you have to stay till next day morning" so better pay some amount and then leave. We totally 3 male and 2 female traveled at that time. One of the lady is carrying, so we dont want to fight with the police further at that time, because me and my friend has to catch the Bangalore mail from central. Police asked 1500,but after the bargain they have collected 500 from us. I felt ashamed to pay, but at that time we dont have further option.
