Bribed to get the Service the tax registration

• Commercial Tax, Sales Tax, VAT
• Sales Tax Registration
• Paid INR 2,000

I was trying register for Service Tax for my firm. Consultant was charging high, so have registered online. A government official asked Bribe for getting the work done in Service Tax Commissionarate building Lakdikapool, officer 2D.

Though we have all the documents ready, official started to ask for Bribe, initially he asked 6000 and then we had to give 2000.

I felt teally bad, as we were registering our firm for tax payments and officials are trying to make money out of it. Ridiculous.
