When I first applied for my passport in Hyderabad in the year 2011 during november, after 6 months of wait, I realized that something is wrong with my application process as usually it is supposed to arrive within a month. After a month of running around, I went to the passport office in Hyderabad and then they informed me that my application is cancelled and no reason was stated. I went to the police station to know if anything was wrong with my police verification process. To my surprise, I was told that my police verification was incomplete since the concerned police who had come for my verification did not take my signature in few places in the form which was not known to me. After a lot of running around again, I applied for another new passport. When the same police official came for the verification, I was already furious that even this time he would tamper with my police verification so when he was looking at me meaning to receive some cash, I had to pay him. He was not satisfied with how much I paid him at home. After few days of the verification, I got to know that he has not been releasing my police verification file from the local police station, so I had to pay him more. That phase of my life was one of the worst experiences which I can never forget.
