I am an apparel dealer. I also purchase goods from several cities around in India. For the goods purchased out side the state, we are supposed to pay CST. Usually CST will be 5%, but when we present C-FORMS to the suppliers, it will be reduced to 2%. But, no service is free when it comes to Commercial Tax Department. When we fail to produce the C-FORM to the supplier, we are charged 6% additional CST, so producing C-FORM is mandatory when once agreed before billing.
Besides irritating bureaucratic processes, one has to pay Rs.100/- for a C-FORM which actually costs Rs.2/- .. of course .. in total we are paying 102/- for each C-FORM. So, for totally I paid bribe of Rs.700/- for 7 *******
