This police officer(sorry i forgot the name :(, but i am told he is still in the same police station) asked for Chai paani(signaling bribe) at the time of doing my passport verification. I was so shocked to hear that cos entire life i kept myself clean and remained a responsible citizen of country just to see a police officer asking for bribe to send a clean report to the passport department. On my refusal he told me 'Beta ab tu dekh teri file kaise pahuchti he aage' and abused me with some bad words and literally threw me out of the station. Finally after a week or so i went to him again and gave the bribe(which he increased from 300 to 500 this time) as i was too worried about my future without the passport.
