Cheated and extracted bribe on traffic violation

I was driving my car without seat belt. A cop stopped me at NID, Paldi and checked my driving license. He asked for Rs. 200 fine. I was carrying only Rs.160 at that time with me I said so to him. Also, I expressed my willingness to pay the fine only against the traffic violation receipt.
The cop agreed to make me a receipt of Rs. 150 and collected Rs. 150 from me. As soon as he handed over the receipt to me, it was stating only Rs.100 as fine. I asked the cop that the receipt mentions only Rs. 100 fine and demanded he either update the receipt with correct amount or return me Rs. 50.
The cop was so bold to say, Once paid it's gone and you also get lost. I was left helpless and have to leave.
Not sure what to do in such like cases. So thought of sharing it here.
Further, I'm still not sure how this site works and so am opting for remaining anonymous. I hope I gather more courage and put my identity here for fighting the cause next time.
